Crispy lady’s finger / okra fry


  • Lady’s finger / okra  – 15 nos
  • Chilli powder – 4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Besan / Gram flour – 2 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste


  • Cut the top of the lady’sfinger and slit the lady’sfinger.
  • Put all the spice powders and mix them with little water.
  • Now scrub the powder gently to the lady’sfinger.
  • Marinade lady’sfinger for about ½ an hour.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the lady’sfinger.
