Frequently I use to prepare French toast, as per my kids demand. But I thought of trying out a spicy toast, and that resulted in this Masala Toast. Goes out well for breakfast, tea time snack or dinner. You can accompany this Masala toast with any chutney, I have accompanied it with Coriander chutney.

A very simple, easy, healthy and also it can be made in minutes. Let us move on to the recipe…

Food Review – Shiro

Standard

Most of my review were based on Indian Cuisine and now it’s completely different with Shiro – A Japenese Cuisine. Coming to Japenese Food, its fact that japenese have good life span compared to all the others, may be it depends on their food.

I have seen many Television shows, about Japenese Cuisine, the way they chop the vegetable or meat and cook is completely from all of us. Moreover their food has unique flavor, aroma, texture compared to all the other cuisine.

Recently when I got hear about this SHIRO, who delivers lunch box direct to our door step. I thought of giving a try…

About Shiro: Shiro has been providing Japenese fare for almost a decade and they started expanding their service in many places, as they are in lack of time they thought of bringing the meal right to your desk or to your door steps.

Packing: The Bento bow was perfectly designed for the Japenese cuisine. The Bento box was perfectly packed and also I found easy to open the boxes. As I have recently experienced difficulty in opening box with a packed lunch box.

Service: The Lunch box reached me, few mins earlier than the requested time. Service was great.

Food:

  • Veg Makimono Bento – 4 pieces of roll, served with chef’s salad & dimsum
  • Chicken Donburi Bento – with Udon Noodles and Thai Chicken Barbeque topping.
  • Seafood Donburi Bento – with Japenese rice and Prawn in hot bean sauce topping.

I liked the rolls and as a non-vegetarian I usually go for non-veg, but this time I liked the vegetarian food compared to their non-vegetarian food. The food sounds good with great taste.

Order: Also these Bento boxes are perfectly designed only for lunch. So you can place and enjoy your order for lunch. They deliver the boxes through Swiggy. Bangaloreans can place your order through this number: 080 4173 886.
