Already I shared a review for YAUATCHA about their Dimsums, but this it’s completely different as they come with awesome, attractive and delicious new dishes, on behalf of the Chinese New Year.
This was our 21st FBAB meetup with our fellow bloggers, had a wonderful time.
Chinese New Year is an annual celebration for Chinese marking the start of the year according to the Chinese lunisolar calendar. They celebrate the New Year by litting lanterns, having parties and more over they refer one among the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. This year its MONKEY YEAR. As a Chinese restaurant, YAUATCHA is celebrating this festival with a limited dishes based with dimsums, wok dishes, desserts and cocktails.
Not only these but they have also introduced few new dishes, let us move on to the review…

Ambiance: Ambiance was too good, with very well decorated interior and wonderful lightings.
Serving: Serving was too good.
Food:
- Starters:
Truffle and English Carrot Dumpling (Veg): The dumpling was good.
Kiwi and black olive dumpling: A unique dish with excellent flavor and aroma.
Corn, carrot and curry dumpling: I like this a lot, the texture, aroma and flavor was perfectly done.
Seafood Shui mai: It was also done excellent, the people those who never likes seafood also would like it to the core.
Lobster ho fun roll with Black pepper sauce: I loved this to the core, the lobster was perfectly done with excellent texture and not miss the black pepper sauce – it was yum. A finger licking dish for me.
Chicken and coriander dumpling: The chicken was very well cooked and the outer layer was in purple colour which attracts all of us.
- Main course:
We had Stir0fry mock chicken in Hunan style spicy sauce, Toban fried rice, Mahlak udon noodle was to good but I felt it was little high in spiciness, Wok fried lobster in Hunan Style spicy sauce – lobster was perfectly done, Braised pork belly in spicy yellow bean sauce with cigar mantou roll– pork was perfectly cooked, as it came out very soft, cigar montou roll when dipped in spicy yellow bean sauce – it was heavenly. I am drooling.
- Dessert:
Crunchy Caramel with Honey comb Ice cream – A must try there, we eagerly asked about the time consumption for this dessert, Chef stated us it took almost 6 hrs for the making. It was heavenly.
- Price: Price was reasonable
I loved all the dishes and each and every dish was perfectly done with excellent texture, wonderful aroma and yummy flavor.
