Preethi Turbo Chop Review

Preethi Turbo Chop

As the name it is a Turbo chop, which helps in chopping the veggies, fruits, nuts to any specific size in seconds, and makes cooking easier and faster.

  • It has 450w powerful motor
  • A stainless steel blade – which helps in chopping and grinding. Make sure when you hold the blade or clean the blade, as the blade is too sharp.
  • 0.7 litre bowl – to add and hold the ingredients. So that the ingredients doesn’t get spill out, above which the motor unit is placed.
  • Very easy to use – Just a press, and there begins magic in your kitchen.

How it works: Just a press on the top of the motor unit, makes the magic happens. Roughly chop the vegetables, add it to the bowl, cover with the lid, and turn on the power and a press it happens. Make sure to give a proper press, the duration of the press – gets you the specific size of the ingredient. While chopping nuts, if it gets struck, remove the lid, mix with a spatula, pour little liquid and continue the work.

Storage: Not like a mixer or a grinder, it just takes little space to store.

My experience: I have prepared Coleslaw and Hummus using Preethi Turbo Chop, it was very helpful, and just finished cooking in few seconds. Cabbage, carrots, onions have been chopped to my desire size in few seconds. In Hummus, I never imagined that it would grind boiled chickpeas to that perfect texture. It ground the boiled chickpeas along with garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice and salt to the perfect pasty texture.

After experimenting, all these I have been wondering how I got to miss this beautiful kitchen appliance being a kitchen appliance and a gadget craze. Not only for chopping and grinding, I would say that it can be used for crushing ingredients (tea, rasam and so on), which replaces the mortar and pestle.

Suggestion: I have only one suggestion, that if there was an indicator button, it would be more helpful. As it would be more challenging with the kids in the kitchen, we at times in a rush would never mind whether it is ON or OFF.

It’s been a boon to anyone who cooks, especially NO MORE TEARS at the kitchen and blaming onions. Also I felt it was cheaply priced for Rs. 2500/-, so that everyone can afford it.

Thanks Preethi Kitchen Appliances for making cooking easy and quick.
