Sharing how to make curry leaves rice recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Curry leaves powder – 2 tbsp
  • Steamed rice – 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Split black lentils – ¼ tsp
  • Split gram (channa dal) / – 1 tsp
  • Peanuts – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – a sprig
  • Red chillies – 2 nos
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Sesame oil – 1 tbsp.

Preparation:

  • Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, split black lentils, gram, peanuts, curry leaves and red chillies.
  • Cook for a min or until it splutters.
  • Add in the steamed rice, followed by curry leaves powder and mix it well.
  • Make sure the rice gets mixed well with the curry leaves powder and the rice becomes dry.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and serve hot.

Serve curry leaves rice with spicy potato chips.
