Food Review – Skylit in Citrus Hotels, Cunningham Road, Bangalore

Standard

Got an invite for Skylit (roof top restaurant) of citrus hotel at Cunningham road on Saturday for Dinner. Skylit - Citrus Hotels Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - ZomatoThis time I am not struck in traffic, and so reached the place right on time. Skylit restaurant was at 5th floor of citrus hotel, when I got into the restaurant, felt like I was in ooty. Because of the weather, the sky drizzling with a soft and gentle breeze, also the music, lightings of the place was fantastic. Loved the place to the core and will say a perfect place for family hangover and a romantic dinner 😛

Coming to the food, there was a big spread in the buffet from starter till the desserts. When few of foodie friends arrived, we got seated in the table which was reserved for us. The manager of the hotel shared the information about the property, also he stated that they commonly serve 16 starters including both veg and non-veg and this was the highlight of skylit. One more interesting I found there was their CLEANSER – they serve cleanser after 3 dishes are served. The purpose of serving cleanser is to help people consume more food. Also we had a good time with loads of chat in the lovely weather with prefect food. Let me share about the food we had –

All the food we had was very yummy and perfectly good – these are must to try in their list – Crazy Bagha Crabs, Jalapeno Frittata and never forget the cleanser – a mix of cucumber, curd/yogurt.

Due to the fantastic weather and yummy food, I was focused on eating and forget to click the pictures of main course. A must to try for Bangaloreans.
