Featured in Todays DtNext – a supplement in English of Daily Thanthi in Chennai edition. dtNEXT Daily Thanthi

Today 29th May 2016 is another great day for me, I got featured in one of the Tamil daily – “Dina Thanthi (Daily Thanthi)”. My featured post is available under the Lifestyle column of the Chennai edition DtNext a supplement in English which comes daily (only in Chennai). From my childhood and from the days I could remember, for me newspaper means Dina Thanthi. At my home, I still remember the days, handing over the newspaper to my grandfather, who needs the paper in front of him before 6:00 AM and we get the newspaper delivered by 5:30 AM. This is a daily routine I remember from the day I started walking and till he passed away, and today I am featured in that. I am so excited to see this. Daily Thanthi is one of the, not to exaggerate, the Tamil Daily which is read by most of the people in the state. There is no words to explain my joy, excitement & happiness, still one thing I miss amidst this joy is my grandfather is not there to witness all these.

Feeling Happy – My Interview got published

Standard

Happy that my interview got published in Kumudam Sneihidhi – Loved to see this.

English Translation of the interview: “Like many women, even I entered kitchen only after my marriage. Since my hubby was interested in trying recipes he sees in magazines, books or TV Shows, during our early days of marriage, we used to be in the kitchen trying many new recipes. As she hails from tuticorin, we could see the slang while we were interviewing her. Post marriage she got settled in Bangalore.
Slowly she learnt and mastered in cooking variety of recipes and then started a blog. In her blog, one could see baking, North Indian dishes and not only that, there are loads of Non veg Recipes from Tuticorin, which is spicy and mouthwatering. Apart from this we could see Cookeries shows, review, etc. She was emotional while she mentioned about the whole credit goes to my blogging to bring me to this level, where I managed to take cooking classes for the kids.”

Featured in Deccan Herald Newspaper, Bangalore Edition

The happiest moment in my life is been my marriage (when it happens to be with understanding person) and then later having kids after these and it’s now – Yes, I got featured in Deccan Herald Newspaper for FBAB (Food Bloggers Association of Bangalore).

I was very happy when I saw my photo in the newspaper, just like that tears roll out my eyes, as I miss my grandpa who is no more. I wish to thank each and every one who motivated and encouraged me by sharing their recipes, placing comments, likes and follows.

Apart from these people there are few more peoples, whom I should share here, my hubby, and my kids – who has been a huge support for me at times. The most important is the FBAB team without them this featuring is not at all possible – Chef Bb, Naveen Suresh, Nameesh and there is one more most encouraging foodie friend Hari.

What would one do when they get featured in a daily newspaper, I would say they fly in the air. But you know what I felt – I am energized, boosted and encouraged, also will try hard to bring out the best.

Do support and keep on supporting me through your wonderful likes and awesome comments.
