Bengali Food Festival – M Cafe – Marriott Whitefield, Bangalore

Standard

Got an invite to M Café, Marriott Whitefield, Bangalore for their “Bengali Food Festival”, I reached on time, as usual with Marriott is was super warm welcome, also their decorations right from the interiors till the dress was completely a replica of Bengali. When it comes to Bengali, I remember the one and only my any favorite “RASGULLA” as I can eat at least 15 at a time. The chef gave a detailed description about the food and the ingredients induced in cooking.

The star of the menu was none other than the Rasgulla and I liked “Daab Chingri“ to the core, in this prawns are cooked with the meat of the tender coconut, green chillies in the tender coconut shell itself.  Imagine the aroma and flavor of the dish, yeah I understand that you all are drooling and not only it’s you even I am drooling now. Let me share the dishes I had there with pictures –

Sunday Brunch – Marriott, Whitefield, Bangalore

Standard

Got an invite to Marriott — MCafe, Whitefield, Bangalore for the Sunday Brunch. We started on time and reached there on time due to light traffic. The ambiance was too good, wonder to see so many varieties of dishes ranging from desserts till bakes. They have a theme based brunch on all Sundays and yesterday it was Thorr mostly to impress kids.

We were introduced to chef. Sanjeev Rajan, he who took us a tour all over the brunch. We had wonderful time, as he explained us each and every concept of the food there. Also he wanted us to start the brunch from desserts, as theme was related to kids. My kids usually like to have bakes and chocolates, when they got to see the bakes and desserts spread over there, they was confused what to have. Not only kids even it was me who got confused, what to have – as there was varieties ranging from salad, Indian cuisine and Continental cuisine.

Also there was a few live counter for Tandoori, Chinese Live counter, Italian Live counter, BBQ counter, Japanese counter and for burgers with both veg and non-veg which includes poultry, meat and seafood. Last but not least a beautiful Ice cream counter with varieties of toppings.

These brunches are commonly done on all Sundays @ Marriott, Whitefield, and Bangalore. It happens from 12.00 a.m till 3.30 p.m. Also a best place for kids as they would enjoy their food as it was theme based and here they would have loads of variety, no worries for parent to feed their kids. A must to visit with family in Bangalore.
