We have been planning for a trip to Hyderabad for many years and it was getting pushed or one or the other reason. One such reason is Telangana formation, whenever we plan there would be some agitation happening for the same and we would end up cancelling our trip. Now this May 2016, planned for a trip to Hyderabad, considering Telangana formation is complete. The next challenge came on our way, stay… Though Hyderabad is famous for guest house concepts, it was difficult to decide which one to choose. Though we stayed in Hyderabad for a short span of time of about 6 months, it is quite long gap, for sure we know that it had changed a lot. While we searched for the options, OYO room came in to picture, we liked the concept of rooms being blocked from various hotels/ guest houses to choose from based on the range. IT has three classes Economic, Premium and Elite.
I made by booking just a week before and I got a good deal/ package on OYO Premium with free WIFI, Breakfast, A/C. Rooms were so clean and toiletries were provided as well. Though it is tied up with hotels, no compulsion of payment to be done prior to booking like other travel booking sites. Another benefit is you have options to pay to OYO or pay at the hotel at your convenience. It clearly calls out the facilities available for the customer to make the decision. When you really go and see the hotel, it won’t be different from being promised or booked, it would be same as what you have been told during booking. All the galleries reflect the latest look and feel. At the hotel/ property, there is no glitch in adding additional requirements, it was made easy by the hotel front desk informing OYO and in-turn OYO service desk will call you to confirm the changes/ amendments. It was easy to get amendments and both Hotel and the OYO service desk calls out clearly any additional charges before confirming. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed with the family during the stay. Being the first time, we were hesitant and but now, I would prefer and choose OYO wherever possible and avail the best offer. Moreover, I recommend my friends and relatives circle as well to choose OYO.
The Property I stayed was GEN X 1589 Hotels, @Banjara Hills, Road No 12. The property was so unique and the team had taken care of our needs pretty well. The food was so good and tasty. It was a pleasant stay and had so many other restaurants and hotels around.
